Eastfield Community Centre is open on a drop-basis for light refreshments, and as a place for people to meet, at the following times:
Monday 9am-3.30pm
Tuesday 9am-2pm
Wednesday 9am-3.30pm
Thursday 9am-4pm
The centre also provides laundry facilities for those in the nearby high-rise flats, internet access for local residents, sewing machines for members' use, and hold free art classes. They organise monthly outings for members during the summer months, and hold social evenings for members and friends.

NEEACA works to improve the quality of life of African people living in the north east. They have a resource and social centre where all people and cultures are welcomed and where you can experience African education, culture and traditions.

The Walkerville Centre is staffed from 9am to 1pm Monday to Friday for drop-in and public access to computers and the Internet. They also offer a range of activities including: Internet and email courses, creative card making, a walking group, dog training and obedience classes, a lunch club, whist, bridge, musical society, ladies club, dog club, dancing, carpet bowls and an Over 50s group.
