Problems with eyesight and hearing become more common as you get older. There can be many reasons for this and it can have a profound impact on your life, making you feel isolated and out of touch. However, if you are affected by eyesight or hearing loss, there are many things that you can do to improve your quality of life.

Hearing impairments

There are approximately nine million people in the UK who are deaf or hard of hearing. More than half of people over the age of 60 years old have a hearing loss, which is usually related to the ageing process.
