Northumbria Police drop in at Jesmond Library

Date: Friday 7 Mar 2025

Other dates are available

Time: 10.30 am - 11.30 am

The Northumbria Police Neighbourhood Policing Team which covers Jesmond and neighbouring areas is collecting children’s books to donate to families who do not have books in the home.

You can drop books for their collection into Jesmond Library at any time during normal opening hours. Members of the team will be dropping into the library once a month, on a Friday morning, both to collect donated books and to answer any queries from Jesmond residents who drop in at the same time.

As with all policing matters, occasionally it may not be possible for the police to keep strictly to this timetable, if there is an emergency elsewhere in the city. Why not pop in and meet your local policing team?
