This event is for unpaid carers in Newcastle. This means you look after someone who couldn’t manage without your help. Speak to Newcastle Carers to find out more.
The Young Adult Carers Group is for young adults aged 18-25 who look after someone who is ill, disabled, has mental health problems or is misusing drugs or alcohol. The group for young adult carers meet on the first Wednesday of every month.
The group provides an opportunity for young adults to:
- Meet other young people in similar situations
- Take a break from your caring role
- Get information and support
- Learn new skills
- Chat and have fun!
