Nourish Food School

Nourish Food School is a mobile cookery school and food education company working with general public, schools, communities experiencing disadvantage and businesses in Newcastle and the surrounding areas.

Some services are free and others have a small charge. Working in partnership with other organisations we create pop-up training kitchen in just about any space that has tables and hot running water. (Some of the spaces we often work include: Fareshare- Wicker Chair Cafe in Westerhope, Ouseburn Community Centre, and The Lighthouse Project Byker)

Everything we do is practical and hands on including:

  • the Jamie Oliver Ministry of Food Cookery Course
  • free weekly community cooking sessions at Heaton Baptist Church
  • cooking classes for children and young people
  • Cook-At-Home recipe kits
  • Themed cooking masterclasses
  • Foodie Team Building events for local businesses

We welcome local people who wish to volunteer at any of our workshops too.
