West End Women and Girls Centre

West End Women and Girls Centre supports women and girls to feel empowered and develop skills and confidence. Their services include:

  • individual support
  • information, advice and advocacy
  • referrals to relevant agencies
  • women’s groups: One Stop Shop, Women’s Gardening, cookery, cycling
  • families groups
  • girls groups and after school clubs
  • support to victims 11 to 25 years old of domestic violence, honour based violence and forced marriage training courses
  • The Safe Project
  • Edible Elswick and West End Community Bakery
  • English as a second language classes (ESOL)
  • a small farm in Northumberland

West End Women and Girls Centre is a Wellbeing Hub. They’re a warm welcoming place to spend time in Newcastle. They offer a range of support such as hot drinks, free Wi-Fi, place to charge your devices, information, advice and more. Visit Newcastle.gov.uk to see what’s available at this hub.
