4th Newcastle Scout Group

4th Newcastle Scout Group provide fun, safe activities for all children and young people aged 6 to 14 in the Jesmond and Gosforth areas of Newcastle. Support plans are available to help young people with additional needs take part

They run weekly sessions with activities such as climbing, hiking, practical skills and confidence building skills

Beavers (6 to 8 years old)
Cubs (8 to 10 and a half years old)
Scouts (10 and a half to 14 years old)

They also run camps and day trips for Beavers, Cubs and Scouts.

Parents, guardians and carers are welcome to volunteer with the group. Students, Duke of Edinburgh participants and young leaders welcome to volunteer.

Opening hours
Beavers (ages 6–8) meet on Fridays during term time, from 5:30 pm to 6:45 pm.
Cubs (ages 8–10½) meet on Fridays during term time, 6:00 pm to 7:45 pm.
Scouts (ages 10½–14) meet on Fridays during term time, 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm.
