Gam-Anon (Newcastle)

A local support group that meets at Brunswick Methodist Church for relatives or friends of those who are compulsive gamblers. Compulsive Gambling affects up to 2% of the population and is a recognised mental illness – it can have serious effects on both the compulsive gambler and all who care about them. They share advice and support each other through meetings that preserve anonymity and confidentiality.
