Event Programme

5:00pm – Assemble at the Civic Centre, Ceremonial Way.

6:00pm – Peace Walk sets off, led by the Lord Mayor of Newcastle upon Tyne, the Lord Lieutenant of Tyne and Wear, High Sheriff of Tyne and Wear and the PCC Northumbria & Newcastle, alongside regional dignitaries, faith leaders, and community representatives, proceeding to Exhibition Park.

6:30pm to 8:00pm – Family activities and entertainment at Wylam Brewery, Exhibition Park.

8:00pm to 10:00pm – Concert for Peace – Live performances from local artists, musicians, and singers at Wylam Brewery.

Peace Walk 26 is all about bringing together people from all walks of life, all backgrounds, people of faith and non-faith  and all abilities and interests with a common goal…Peace and Unity – Globally, Locally and within 😊
