Welcome & Registration

10am – 12:30pm Community Action Hackathon & Networking

Teams will tackle real-world challenges refugees face, co-designing impactful projects, campaigns, or tools—building practical skills and forming new collaborations. This event will include facilitated ideation sessions, pitch presentations, and an informal networking session to connect participants and spark future partnerships

12:30 – 1:30pm Lunch Break

Enjoy a diverse spread of food and drinks from around the world. A chance to connect, celebrate culture, and enjoy a meal together!

1:30 to 3pm Community Storytelling Festival

An uplifting, human-centred evening where refugee leaders, activists, and students share powerful stories of how community support helped them overcome adversity. The event will feature 6–8 curated storytellers, an optional open mic for audience participation, and professional videography (with consent).
