Emergency Services Day: Becoming Visible

Join Becoming Visible for an Emergency services day tailored for d/Deaf people. Everyone is welcome including families.

Activities include:

• See emergency vehicles up close with demonstrations and displays
• Join Workshops
• Free lunch and refreshments for Deaf people

There will be emergency services advice and guidance for Deaf People on:

• How to contact emergency services
• Who to report to
• What to report
• What to do if communicating with different services

A range of organisations and emergency services will be there on the day including:

• NHS North East Ambulance Service Foundation Trust
• Northumbria Police
• Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service
• RNLI
• Becoming Visible – at the heart of the Deaf community
