Hadrian’s Choirs Festival 2026: Newcastle Cathedral, Carlisle Cathedral & Hexham Abbey

The choirs of Newcastle Cathedral, Hexham Abbey, and Carlisle Cathedral come together for the annual Hadrian’s Choirs Festival Concert, celebrating the rich choral tradition of the region along the line of Hadrian’s Wall.

Each choir will perform individually and join forces as a powerful combined choir. The programme includes well-loved church music by Samuel Sebastian Wesley, alongside other choral favourites.

The second half of the concert features a full performance of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Coronation Mass, offering a joyful and celebratory conclusion to the evening.
