Northumberland dark skies

Join NASTRO for a really far out, immersive stargazing experience, as Dr Adrian Jannetta guides us through the dark skies of Northumberland.
You will get the chance to use the telescope (housed in the Hauxley observatory) and weather permitting, get to see the wonders of the night sky.

This is both a classroom and outdoors event, please dress appropriately for the weather conditions.

Open to anyone Aged 7+

– death from above, how the universe is trying to kill you! 25 October 2025, 6pm to 8pm

– a hitchhikers guide to the solar system, 22 November 2025, 5.30pm to 8pm
