Adopt North East

A regional adoption agency, which combines adoption services from North Tyneside, Gateshead, Newcastle, Northumberland and South Tyneside councils. Working centrally they have:

increased number of children waiting to be adopted; from babies to pre-school children and older
resources to find the best match for you and your family as we are responsible for all the local children in care
a high level of support from your social worker, so help is always at hand if you need it.

The service includes:

recruitment and assessment of prospective adopters
matching and placement – to match prospective adopters with children in need of adoption
post placement and post adoption order support
