Better lives, safer communities is Newcastle City council anti-social behaviour programme.
EPiC (Empowering People in Communities) is a Better lives, safer communities project to involve residents, businesses and others in local delivery groups to create action plans to improve the lives of people who live, work in and visit their communities. Community safety development officers help support the delivery groups.
They focus on combating anti-social behaviour such as fly-tipping and graffiti, tidying up streets and public spaces, community events and improving access to services.
