Children North East

Children North East are a local charity supporting families, children and young people . They offer a wide range of services including:

• Supporting parents’ relationships with their babies
• Baby and toddler groups
• Intensive support for families in crisis
• Peer mentoring for young people
• Counselling for children and young people aged 9-25
• Poverty Proofing© work in schools, healthcare, early years and cultural settings
• Sexual health and relationships drop in sessions
• Support for neurodivergent young people, who have recently received or are waiting for a diagnosis, including Masquer-Aid programme
• FAB Group for young people aged 11 to 25 with Special Educational Needs. The group meets every month in Newcastle to make friends and share experiences
