Communities Team – Newcastle City Council

The Communities Team is the Council’s community engagement team within the Communication and Engagement Service.

The Communities team works with your local councillors and other council services to:

• support the asset transfer process for community buildings,
• manage ward budgets for the 26 wards in Newcastle
• manage ward committee funding for local projects and local community organisations
• hold ward community meetings to meet with residents, share information about local activities and services and talk about local priorities
