Education Partnership North East’s (EPNE) fully funded Virtual Learning offer is now live, providing adults with access to a wide range of flexible, nationally recognised qualifications. As an Ofsted Outstanding provider, we are committed to helping individuals develop new skills, gain recognised qualifications, and improve their career prospects through high-quality learning.

Our online programmes are designed to fit around existing work, volunteering, family, and personal commitments, making them an ideal option for those looking to invest in their future without disrupting their day-to-day responsibilities. Learners typically complete their studies over a 12-week period, with the flexibility to learn at a pace that works for them.

While many of our most popular courses focus on Health and Social Care, we also offer qualifications across a variety of sectors, helping learners build confidence, enhance their knowledge, and take positive steps towards further learning, career progression, or employment opportunities.

If you are unable to commit to a structured course or attend in-person classes, virtual learning provides a flexible and accessible alternative. Courses are completed online and in your own time, allowing you to fit learning around your existing commitments.

All study resources are provided electronically, and learners are supported throughout their journey with clear deadlines, regular communication, and access to experienced tutors. In addition, learners will attend live virtual sessions delivered by subject specialists, providing opportunities to ask questions, gain further insight, and remain engaged with their studies.

Who Can Access These Courses?

Our Virtual Learning programmes are fully funded, meaning there is no cost to eligible learners.

To qualify, individuals must:

✅ Be aged 19 or over

✅ Have lived in the UK for 3 years or more

✅ Not currently be undertaking an apprenticeship, as funding regulations prevent learners from accessing more than one government-funded programme at the same time (often referred to as “double funding”)
