International Newcastle

International Newcastle work with schools, charities and organisations to support language learning and cultural sharing opportunities. Their activities include:

• Newcastle Modern Foreign Language (MFL) Networks for primary and secondary schools
• host the Express Yourself: North East Festival of Languages, An annual event celebrating the diverse languages, cultures and communities in the region
• support language teaching, learning and take up in Newcastle schools and the wider community
• celebrating cultural diversity in the city, languages and cultures and connections to the world
• promote social cohesion, cultural inclusion and support underrepresented groups
• directory of organisations who promote international relations, activities and communities
• broker international links and intercultural connections for children and young people (ages 1-30)
