Joining Forces Tyne & Wear
Joining Forces is a veterans support project covering the whole of Tyne & Wear and supported through several Age UK local organisations. If you were born before 1950 and have a military background, including National Service, Reserves and Merchant Navy, or if you are a family member or carer of a veteran, then they may be able to help.
They offer veterans help with:
- Pension entitlement, military medals and badges.
- activities, support and social groups.
- benefits checks, attendance allowance and blue badge applications
