Kielder Water and Forest Park

The Park is in Northumberland and is home to the largest forest in England and the largest man-made lake in northern Europe. There are three visitor centres and many other attractions and facilities for day trips.  Kielder is popular for: walking, cycling, night skies, birds of prey, art installations.  Parking can be booked in advance and it is 1 hour and 30 mins from Newcastle.

The Forest Drive is closed.  New artwork the Nick allows you to see different landscapes from different viewpoints. Situated at the highest point of Forest Drive that links Kielder village with the A696 to the east.
