The Metropolitan police are responsible for keeping London safe and free of crime. The Met is the central agency responsible for collating, acting on and reporting on suspicious activity or extremist content online.

Police officers play a central role in the law enforcement system. They monitor criminal activity, respond to emergency calls, and testify in court as needed.

As part of their crime prevention work they have produced a read/audio guide to avoid scams called The Little Book of Big Scams.
