Wellbeing Hubs are warm welcoming local venues, such as libraries and community centres where you can spend time and get support such as hot drinks, free wifi, a place to charge your devices, information, advice and more. You can use our Wellbeing Hub finder to find your nearest hub.

Music Appreciation Group

The Music Appreciation Group are a small group of men and women who meet for 2 hours every week to listen to a wide range of music, mainly classical.

They meet on Wednesdays 1-3pm at Blackfriars Hall. People interested in finding out more are encouraged to come along to a session. New members will be given a very warm welcome. It costs £3 per session and this includes tea and biscuits.

If using public transport there are a few buses from Old Eldon Square (12 39 40 62, and 63) which take 4 minutes to get to Byker. The Number 22 from Market Street, also stops at Blackfriars.
