NECA (North East Council on Addictions)

North East Council on Addictions (NECA) are a charity that supports people and communities with long term recovery from harmful gambling. If you’re worried about your own gambling, or if someone else’s gambling is negatively affecting you they can help. They provide gambling information, advice and support. This includes:

• peer led group support sessions for gambling harms
• relapse prevention group support sessions for gambling harms
• affected others group support sessions for gambling harms
• one to one confidential support for gambling harms
• telephone support for gambling harms
• support to the family or friends of the person with harmful gambling
• Drink Drive Rehabilitation service
• Young People’s Gaming/Gambling Harm Prevention Programme
