NHS App

The NHS app allows you to access your health information, contact your GP or Healthcare provider, manage prescriptions and more. This can be useful if you can’t remember when you last saw a GP or had a consultation about your health or condition.  Download the app to your mobile device and you can:

  • book GP surgery appointments and add them to your calendar
  • see your referrals to a hospital or specialist and manage the booking
  • see the average waiting time for further hospital appointments and ongoing treatment
  • nominate a pharmacy
  • order repeat prescriptions
  • collect prescriptions using a prescription barcode in the App
  • view your NHS number
  • choose if your confidential patient information is used for research
  • opt in or out of organ donation
  • get messages from your GP or other healthcare provider direct to your NHS app inbox.
  • create linked profiles of family members or carers so they can access health records on your behalf (this must be enabled by your GP).
  • access care plans from your care provider
  • view test results and imaging from your care provider
  • see your COVID-19 vaccination status with dates of the vaccine and the product
