Oswin Unit – Bamburgh Clinic – Acute Forensic Unit – Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Mental Health Foundation Trust (CNTW)

Oswin Unit is an admission facility for men who have a mental health disorder and who have come into contact with the Criminal Justice System. The Oswin Unit  provides a medium secure inpatient forensic personality disorder service.

Oswin Unit is for men between the ages of 18 to 65 from the North East of England. It provides a specialist assessment and treatment service for men who have a primary diagnosis of personality disorder.

You can be referred to Oswin Unit through a specialist mental health service or through prison.
