Shieldfield Art Works (SAW)

Shieldfield Art Works (SAW) is an arts space and a project of the Methodist Church. They explore contemporary art, theological reflection and community activism. They run:

  • art exhibitions
  • community garden
  • SAW Reflects – where you can meet up over food to discuss different topics
  • community action over craft activities and Painting for Fun
  • host a weekly Pop up pantry food shop

SAW is a Wellbeing Hub. They’re a warm welcoming place to spend time in Newcastle. They offer a range of support such as hot drinks, free Wi-Fi, place to charge your devices, information, advice and more. Read more about  Wellbeing Hubs
