St Gabriel’s Church, Heaton

St. Gabriel’s is a Church of England Parish Church and charity which serves all those who live in the parish of Heaton whether they are people of faith or not. They hold regular weekday services, Sunday services, Choral Evensong using the Book of Common Prayer and Compline for reflection.

Other activities include:

• Wellbeing Warm Hub open on Thursday mornings 10.30am to 11.30am
• Church choir, Mothers’ Union, prayer meetings, flower arranging
• baby & toddler group, junior church, Girl Guides, Scouts
• Zumba and yoga

St. Gabriel’s takes part in Heaton Churches Together and Martha & Mary’s Community Café on Chillingham road.

They also have venue space for up to 350 people available for hire. Video playing equipment and access to the kitchen is available. The building and toilets are wheelchair accessible. Limited street parking is available nearby.
