Star and Shadow Cinema

Star & Shadow Cinema is a cinema and an alternative social, cultural, arts and community hub run by a collective of volunteers.

It has a open programming system. Community organisations, independent artists and any member of the public can come and promote their own film, music, discussions and working groups.

Star and Shadow run a monthly Community Kitchen on the 2nd Wednesday of the month. This is a space to get a free hot meal, chat to strangers, and take part in activities such as knitting groups, DIY bike and tech repair sessions, crafts, films, and music. Anyone is welcome to attend the Community Kitchen, or to get involved as a volunteer.

The star and shadow has a Changing Place accessible toilet. These toilets have equipment to help you use the toilet, or to change, such as a hoist, a height-adjustable changing bench and a shower. These toilets have more space so your carer or carers can help you if needed.

They also have venue space for corporate or community hire. The building can hold up to 300 people in total and is wheelchair accessible.
