We have teamed up with Newcastle City Council to have young people (ages 16+) focused practical conservation sessions. Help support the rangers with the upkeep of the park, cutting back growth, keeping paths clear for visitors to enjoy, and spend some time in a green space for your own wellbeing.
This event will be a practical, hands-on session where you may use tools, which will all be provided. Please wear footwear for uneven ground and closed toe shoes with a sturdy ankle!
Anyone aged 17 or under will need parental permission to book on. No previous experience is needed and tools/PPE will be provided. The only essential requirement is a willingness to work hard as part of a team and being a decent human being! You may like to bring snacks and bottle of water with you! If you can no longer attend please let us know as the places are limited!
