Gosforth’s Wild Web: Summer Bird Walk

Join local birder Matthew Harrison for a walk across Big Waters Nature Reserve. This walk is appropriate for both complete beginners and advanced birders.

Some likely species for this walk include: Snipe, Sandpiper, Tree Sparrow and Yellowhammer.

Bus directions from Newcastle: Board the 45 bus to Dinnington at Haymarket Bus Station. Get off the bus at Sandy Lane Industrial Estate and walk down the next path on the right.

Please bring optics if possible, as well as suitable clothing.
