Natural History Society of Northumbria

The Natural History Society of Northumbria encourages the study and exploration of the natural world, helps to protect the flora and fauna of the North East and cares for its collections and library in the Great North Museum:Hancock. The Society also provides adult classes in natural history subjects, indoor talks Museum, outdoor field meetings, conservation volunteering and access to one of Newcastle’s most important nature reserves.
