Older Person’s Celebration Day – Age Friendly Ceilidh

Newcastle Libraries, with Equal Arts, will host an exciting programme of events to celebrate over 55’s.

All events are free.  Ceilidh, art workshop and Techy Tea Party must be booked in advance via Eventbrite.  Library staff can assist with booking on Eventbrite.

• 10.30am – 12.30pm – City Lines creative workshop with Equal Arts in Atrium, Level 1
• 10.30am – 11am – Just Listen: Adult Storytime on Level 3, City Library
• 12pm – 1pm – Learn how to use your digital device with Techy Tea Party, ICT Suite, Level 4.  Please book in advance.
• 2pm – 3.30pm – Age-Friendly Ceilidh Dancing with live music from The Redheughers Ceilidh Band in Bewick Hall, Level 2, City Library.  Please book in advance.
• 4pm – 6pm – Drop in to explore some of our Special Local Collections on Heritage Floor, Level 6, Room 7
