Aidan Ward – Bamburgh Clinic – Acute Forensic Unit – Cumbria, Northunberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Trust (CNTW)

Aidan Ward is an acute admission facility for men who have a mental disorder and who have come into contact with the Criminal Justice System. Located within the Bamburgh Clinic, Aidan Ward provides a medium secure admission, assessment and treatment service.

Aidan Ward is for men aged 18 years and over who:

• have had contact with the Criminal Justice System
• require support from a specialist forensic service after support from other mental health services.

You can be referred to wards at the Bamburgh Clinic through a specialist mental health service or prison.
