Alzheimer’s Society Newcastle

Your local Alzheimer’s Society Newcastle provides a range of support services for people with dementia, their families and carers.

Their Dementia Advisors offer information and practical guidance to help you understand the condition, cope with day-to-day challenges and prepare for the future.

Face-to-face, over the phone or in writing they will help you to:

remain independent and stay active for as long as possible
get the information and advice you need to make informed decisions about your wellbeing
find other local services which can help to improve your life.

They also run a Dementia Voice local group where people living with dementia and carers can share their experiences and opinions on a range of topics, and get involved in local and national projects.
