Autism Matters

Autism Matters are a non-profit support service for autistic people in the North East. They operate in Newcastle, Gateshead, North and South Shields, Northumberland, and Teesside providing services for autistic people with or without learning disabilities. They are community-based charity that focus on complementing existing support that people may have.

They provide a variety of services including:

• 1-1 support
• Group sessions that meet 4 times throughout the week
• Activities such as go-karting, archery, snow tubing, pottery, cinema trips, and excursions to theme parks and activity centres
• Transport to and from the activities

They accept both self-referrals and professional queries.
