Blakelaw Library

Blakelaw Library is closed until further notice

Select & Collect lets you browse online to find books, audiobooks, board games and DVDs you’d like to borrow, and then come in and collect them.
How You will need full membership to borrow items through Select & Collect – find out more on the Join Newcastle Libraries page.

Blakelaw Library is adjacent to a community centre and a café.  The library offers:

  • books and newspapers
  • free computer, internet and Wi-Fi access
  • printing, photocopying and scanning facilities
  • Café in the Blakelaw Centre
  • Councillor surgeries in the Blakelaw Centre
  • Welfare Rights Benefits Advice drop in session Friday 9.30 am to 12pm
  • Coffee and conversation event on Tuesdays 10am to 11:30am.
