Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust Voluntary Services

Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear (CNTW) NHS Foundation Trust Voluntary Services recruit and manage volunteers to work within health services in the region.

Volunteers support the work of healthcare professionals for two to four hours per week in a wide range of non-clinical roles across the CNTW trust. Roles include:

• Social activity volunteers in Newcastle, Gateshead, Northumberland and Sunderland
• Patient information volunteers
• Patient library volunteers
• Patient feedback volunteers

They provide a full recruitment, training, and screening process for all our potential volunteers. They also provide ongoing support, out of pocket expenses reimbursement, wellbeing and development sessions for people volunteering within the trust.
