What is Newcastle Autism Support Service and who is it for?

A needs-led service available to individuals living in Newcastle who are 18+.

Eligibility

Newcastle Autism Support Service is designed to provide support to those age 18+ living in the Newcastle who:

• Are on the waiting list for an autism diagnosis
• Already have an autism diagnosis

What will the service offer?
The service is needs based and tailored to the requirements of each individual. Support offered may include:

• Information and advice
• Peer support drop in sessions
• Bookable 1:1 appointments
• A programme of psychoeducation designed to support individuals to understand themselves

Where will the services be delivered?
The service has been designed to be as accessible as possible, and support will be available both in person and online. Weekly drop-ins also take place at venues across the Newcastle.
