Diabetes UK Local Support (North)

Diabetes North is the local support service. The run:

Peer support groups: You can meet other people with diabetes to talk, get information and support. The local group is in Gateshead. There are also groups in South Tyneside and Bedlington. It’s free to take part. Anybody interested in diabetes is welcome.

They can also help with information talks for your community group, workplace or faith group. Information stands at community events. They also fundraise and campaign to raise awareness of diabetes.
