Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS)

The Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) provide advice and support about equality and human rights issues. They have a free telephone helpline. They can help you if you feel that you have been discriminated against because of any person characteristic, such as:

  • age
  • disability
  • marriage and civil partnership
  • gender reassignment
  • pregnancy and maternity
  • race
  • religion or belief
  • sex
  • sexual orientation

They can give you information and advice, to help explain your rights under the Equality Act 2010. They will work with you to decide the best course of action to take to resolve your issue. They will support you to achieve the best possible outcome. They do not provide legal advice.
