First Step North East

First Step North East helps migrant women living in Newcastle’s West End to take part in opportunities to learn and increase their confidence. They have a community building where they provide:

• training
• art and craft activities
• crèche facilities. 2 hour session costs £1 to pay for biscuits and drinks
• English language classes and computer skills
• healthy living activities
• mentoring
• volunteering and active citizenship
• organic vegetable growing

Giving women the chance to learn, increase their confidence and achieve their goals. Services are free but there may be a small cost for things ike materials for crafts. T
