Newcastle Futures

Newcastle Futures help unemployed and employed people in Newcastle over the age of 18, to find work and  training and to progress in their careers. They provide 1 to 1 personal employment support in community venues across the city. They also provide support via online video calls, telephone and other digital platforms. Newcastle Futures help to:

  • create a CV and cover letter
  • identify your transferable skills
  • find vacancies (jobs, apprenticeships, volunteering, work experience),
  • write job applications to impress employers
  • prepare for and succeed in job interviews
  • explore funding to access training
  • build your LinkedIn profile and use it for job searches
  • progress your career and upskill
  • access support from specialist agencies

Newcastle Futures are part of Newcastle City Council. They work in partnership with many organisations to make it easier for you to get into work. Such as the Skills Hub at Newcastle City Library.
