Newcastle Neighbourhoods

Newcastle Neighbourhoods is all about working together to discover, connect and mobilise our neighbourhoods, making sure health and care services also become part of community life. There are 4 Neighbourhoods in Newcastle:

• North – Includes the wards: Castle, Parklands, Gosforth, Kenton, Dene and South Gosforth, Fawdon and West Gosforth, Manor Park & North Jesmond
• East – Includes the wards: Byker, Heaton, Monument, Ouseburn, South Jesmond, Walker, Walkergate
• Inner West – Includes the wards: Arthurs Hill, Benwell and Scotswood, Blakelaw, Elswick, West Fenham, Wingrove
• Outer West – Includes the wards: Callerton and Throckley, Chapel, Denton and Westerhope, Kingston Park and Newbiggin hall, Lemington

The Community Wellbeing Team run regular networking events to connect people across the health, social care, voluntary, community, housing, sport, leisure, uniformed services and social enterprise sectors.  All who work or volunteer in these sectors you are welcome to attend.
