North East Migration Partnership (NEMP)

The North East Migration Partnership (NEMP) provides support to migrants and works with national, regional, and local partners so the region can benefit from migration

They provide:

• strategic direction and insight on asylum and refugee related issues
• data, policy, and research information on migration, refugee and asylum seekers
• local integration support for refugee and asylum seekers
• guidance on wider migration issues

NEMP has hubs of resources to support professionals and people newly migrated to the UK. This includes:

• Arrivals eLearning courses to help new refugees and asylum seekers to understand the law, expectations, and social norms in the UK
• Unaccompanied asylum seeking children (UASC) Hub has guides and resources for young people, social workers, foster carers, and personal advisors working with asylum seeking children.
