Prostate Cancer UK

Prostate Cancer UK is a national charity that provides services to men and their families who are affected by prostate cancer.

Community Specialist Nurses work with and support men and families offering holistic health needs assessments along with group and one to one support. They can support you living with and beyond prostate cancer, helping you tackle difficult issues if and when they arise.

They can also help to put you and your family in touch with other services in your area. They can direct you to the support and information available from Prostate Cancer UK via literature material, Specialist Nurses, Peer Support, an online community, support groups and volunteers.

There is a North East Support Group held at Maggie’s centre, Freeman Hospital.
