Segedunum Roman Fort and Museum

Segedunum Roman Fort is an interactive museum on the most excavated fort along Hadrian’s Wall.

It shows what life was like in Roman Britain using:

  • Hadrian’s Wall
  • a Roman Gallery
  • a 35 metre Viewing Tower which gives views across the site and wider area
  • special exhibitions and events
  • slow museum sessions for people with dementia

Admission charges apply, children under 16 go free.
