Segedunum Roman Fort, Baths and Museum

Segedunum Roman Fort is an interactive museum on the most excavated fort along Hadrian’s Wall.

It shows what life was like in Roman Britain using:

  • Hadrian’s Wall
  • a Roman Gallery
  • a 35 metre Viewing Tower which gives views across the site and wider area
  • special exhibitions and events
  • slow museum sessions for people with dementia

Admission charges apply, children under 16 go free.

Until 30 September 10am – 6pm daily

Monday – Saturday 10am - 3pm,
Closed Sundays

Half Terms - open 10am - 4pm during October and February school half-terms.
CLOSED from Sunday 2 December 2018 – Sunday 20 January 2019
