St Anthony’s Youth Education and Support (The Bostey)

St Anthony’s Youth Education and Support (SAYES) also known as ‘The Bostey’ is a neighbourhood youth project based in Walker that has worked with local families, children, and young people in the East of Newcastle since 1940. They are a member of the Walker Workers group

They work together with other partners in the East End of the City to provide whole family and one to one support to local families, children, and young people.

They provide activities and run youth events such as

  • cooking
  • photography
  • media, arts and crafts sessions
  • youth discos
  • museum visits
  • outdoor activities
  • drop in sessions

The Bostey is a Wellbeing Hub. They’re a warm welcoming place to spend time in Newcastle. They offer a range of support such as hot drinks, free Wi-Fi, place to charge your devices, information, advice and more. Read more about  Wellbeing Hubs

Wellbeing hub open Monday 10am to 9pm, Tuesday and Wednesday 3pm to 9pm, Thursday 10am to 4pm, Friday 3pm to 7pm
