Better Lives, Stronger communities

Newcastle City Council is investing £1.5 million to tackle anti-social behaviour through our new ‘Better Lives, Stronger Communities’ programme to continue to keep our neighbourhoods safe. To help us do this, we want to find out more about what people think about anti-social behaviour in their local area, and how much of a problem it is.

Please help with this by completing this short form to tell us what you think. The end date for the survey is 12th September 2022.

Voluntary sector survey to support Community Mental Health Transformation

The Community Mental Health Transformation Programme was announced by NHS England in the summer of 2020.

The importance of co-producing the necessary transformation with the voluntary and community sector and with service users and carers has been emphasised from the outset. There was also an expectation that a significant portion of the funding would be invested in Voluntary Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) provision.

This survey has been designed to try and get a sense of how the VCSE is involved locally, so that the challenges and opportunities can be better understood. Any emerging themes will be explored in more depth by follow up focus groups.

Please complete this survey and/or share as appropriate. Closing date for completion of the survey is Friday 9th September 2022

Extra healthcare appointments in Newcastle – give your views

Newcastle Integrated Care Board and Newcastle GP Services are currently undertaking a survey on the provision of additional appointments outside usual GP practice opening hours; 7am to 8am and 6.30pm to 8pm Mon to Fri and 9am to 5pm on Saturdays. These extra appointments will begin in the next few months and ahead of this, they would like to know what communities in Newcastle would value the most from these new appointments to ensure that the new service meets their needs.  This does not include Cruddas Park and West Road GP Surgeries.

Complete the survey here.

The closing date for the survey is Friday 2nd September 2022.
