Building Futures East

Building Futures East is a charity who provides intensive employment support, careers advice, basic skills training and wellbeing support across the city but with a key focus upon Walker and Byker. They also offer:

• emergency food parcels, hygiene products and cat and dog food to residents in Byker and Walker only. Referral needed from a professional such as GP, jobcentre work coach, social prescriber or social worker
• coaching, skills development & careers advice to help you prepare for work
• a community garden growing fresh produce that is available to people who use the project
• support the development of community-led groups and provide 1-1 support through Lifting Neighbourhoods Together

Building Futures East is a Wellbeing Hub. They’re a warm welcoming place to spend time in Newcastle. They offer a range of support such as hot drinks, free Wi-Fi, place to charge your devices, information, advice and more. Read more about  Wellbeing Hubs
